- Do you work with projects outside Europe?
- Yes. Most of the regulatory mapping is EU and UK focused, but Mara has worked on projects in British Columbia, New Zealand, and the eastern US. If your jurisdiction is outside those, she will say so upfront rather than pretend otherwise.
- How long does a feasibility study take?
- Four to six weeks from the point we have your site data and species shortlist. If you do not have site data yet, we can discuss what you need to collect and how. Rushing a feasibility study is one of the more reliable ways to waste money on a seaweed project.
- Can you help with a project that is already running?
- Yes, and this is actually common. The pilot audit service exists specifically for projects that have been running for one to three seasons and want an outside read on their yield data, cost structure, or regulatory standing before they scale.
- Do you take equity in projects?
- No. Seaweed Blueprint charges flat fees for defined deliverables. Taking equity would change the nature of the advice, and not in a good direction.
- What if the feasibility study says the project is not viable?
- Then you have saved yourself from a larger loss. That outcome happens in roughly one in five studies. Mara will tell you clearly, explain the specific reasons, and in some cases suggest a modified version of the project that might work.
